Following the success of Quiet on Set: The Dark Side of Kids TV, Investigation Discovery is exploring the sexual assault accusations against Backstreet Boys singer Nick Carter and the mental health and substance abuse struggles of his late brother, Aaron Carter, in a new docuseries.
Airing on May 27 and 28, Fallen Idols premieres Monday on ID and streams simultaneously on Max, and examines “Nick and Aaron Carter’s lives, careers, and relationships, from the height of their fame to tragedies and headline-making events of the past few years,” per the limited series’ logline. The four-parter will include interviews by the three women who have come forward with rape allegations against Nick Carter: Ashley Repp, Shannon “Shay” Ruth and Melissa Schuman of the girl group Dream.
