The days are longer, the sun is hotter and the savings are at an all-time high. With Amazon Prime Day right around the corner, Target isn’t the only major retailer trying to compete with the highly anticipated shopping holiday. Walmart is staking its claim in the summer sale game with the first ever ‘Walmart Deals’ — running from Monday, July 8 at 2 p.m. PT through Thursday, July 11 at 8:59 p.m. PT. Here’s everything to know about the retailer’s largest savings event ever, including how to shop early.
Unlike Walmart+ Week, Walmart Deals is open to all customers regardless of membership status. Walmart+ members can, however, start shopping five hours before everyone else — Monday, July 8 at 9 a.m. PT.
Sign up today for 50 percent off ($49/year instead of the regular $98/year) to enjoy bonus savings, video streaming with Paramount+, early access to special product releases, up to 5 percent back on travel, auto care with free tire repair, free delivery on everything (including groceries), returns from home and 10 cents off every gallon of gas. There’s also a free 30-day trial available.
During Walmart Deals, shoppers can save on thousands of items across all categories, from viral beauty and household essentials to patio furniture, tech, home decor and appliances. This is an online-only event, but customers can still get items quickly with Walmart’s full suite of pickup and delivery options. These include in-store pickup, early morning delivery, late-night express delivery and next- and two-day shipping.
