Donald Trump makes his first public appearance after surviving an assassination attempt at the 2024 Republican National Convention on Monday. The 78-year-old former president is expected to formally accept the GOP nomination for presidential candidate at the RNC, which runs Monday through Thursday.
Taking place in Milwaukee, the four-day 2024 RNC will be broadcast live on ABC, CBS, CNN, CSPAN, Fox News, NBC and PBS and other local and national cable channels. On Monday, Trump also announced his running mate as Ohio Sen. J.D. Vance, who authored a memoir, Hillbilly Elegy, that was adapted into a Netflix film directed by Ron Howard.
