Chad Michael Murray doesn’t want to be anything other than what he’s been tryna be lately.
But he isn’t totally opposed to returning to his past, either. Indeed, the One Tree Hill alum—who played Lucas Scott on the iconic WB series—shared his reaction to being a part of the possible reboot.
“I want that show to happen,” Chad told E! News in an exclusive interview, before admitting of his character: “I don’t know what will happen with me.” (For more from Chad, watch E! News tonight, Nov. 18)
And while the Freaky Friday star isn’t sure of his own character’s fate, he’s excited about the prospect of the series—which also starred Sophia Bush, Bethany Joy Lenz, Hilarie Burton and James Lafferty—making its return.
“This experience that I’ve gotten like the privilege of being able to experience over the course of the last 24 years is incredible,” he gushed of the One Tree Hill fandom. “And so for each and every person that grew up on this show and it affected them and it changed their heart just a little bit and their mind and just set the tone for their youth, I hope it happens.”
