Columbia’s latest Hoth-ready winter collaboration with Star Wars might just convince you to join the dark side.
Out today, the outdoors lifestyle brand’s new Vader collection ($40 to $600) with Lucasfilm brings the former Jedi knight-turned-Sith Lord to its signature outerwear and — for the first time ever — an exclusive Star Wars-inspired pair of shoes. The 20-piece apparel and accessories range includes glossy black quilted convertible jackets and parkas, a three-layer Interchange jacket that nods to the former Jedi master’s helmet and armor, T-shirts and socks featuring Darth Vader’s iconic silhouette, to name a few pieces fit for a trek to Orto Plutonia. (A limited-edition 3L Interchange jacket signed by actor Hayden Christensen quickly sold out; 100 percent of proceeds benefitted the Make-A-Wish foundation.)
Fans can stomp to the beat of the Imperial March in the Vader boots featuring Columbia’s Omni-Grip all-terrain outsole and cushioned TechLite+ midsole. Adventure-ready accessories include a quilted crossbody bag, a graphic packable blanket, a stainless steel double-walled water bottle (complete with the Imperial insignia), a Tracklock leather belt that pays homage to Darth Vader’s helmet, a black bucket hat and more.
And for those budding Imperial loyalists, there are kids’ graphic hoodies and short-sleeved T-shirts finished with an Imperial patch.
The Columbia x Vader collection is part of an ongoing collaboration with Lucasfilm: Past capsules include a Boba Fett line, the Skywalker Pilot collection (complete with bright orange jumpsuits and coats), a limited-edition Clone Wars range of Ahsoka Tano-worthy jackets and more.
